Check out Total Management from Principal. For a low monthly fee, your clients get enrollment and year-round administrative services. Plus, it accommodates multiple providers—and you get special pricing as a member of the Privileged Partner Program.

 

How much does it cost?

Pricing is a flat monthly fee or on a per employee per month (PEPM) basis—with no set-up or electronic data interchange (EDI) fees. The more products your client has with Principal, the lower the cost. Here are some of the products that count in determining the price—whether employer-paid, employee-paid, or self-funded:

  • Group term life
  • Voluntary term life
  • Short-term disability
  • Long-term disability
  • Dental
  • Vision
  • Supplemental products
  • Individual disability or life
  • Retirement plan services,
    including 401(k), nonqualified,
    pension, and Employee Stock
    Ownership Plan (ESOP)
  • Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML)

 

 

Additional discounts are available when utilizing a preferred payroll vendor or when purchasing 2+ optional eBenefits Edge services. If the number of products reduces after implementation, customers with 75+ employees and fewer than two qualifying products pay $4.00 PEPM. Customers with 50-74 employees and fewer than three qualifying products incur a flat $400 monthly fee.

 

Who can buy this?

Clients are eligible for this service if they have:

  • 75+ employees and offer two qualifying Principal group products.
  • 50-74 employees and offer three qualifying Principal group products.

 

1 Employee-paid vision is a qualifying product for cases with 100 or more employees, or for cases with fewer than 100 employees when dental is also purchased or in place.
2 Qualifying product when two supplemental products - accident, critical illness (specified disease in New York), or hospital indemnity - are purchased together.
3 Hospital indemnity only.

Overnight carrier

Receive a Principal FedEx discount when mailing to your local sales office or our home office in Des Moines, Iowa.

 

If you do not have a FedEx account. Complete the online application. Enter the passcode: WQM9XQ. Upon completing the application, FedEx will mail you a start-up welcome kit with your account number (allow 3-5 business days to receive your kit). After receiving your welcome kit and new account number, set-up a new fedex.com user ID and password.

 

If you already have a FedEx account. Input your account information here to be enrolled in the new FedEx program with Principal. Once you have submitted your existing account into the online application you will need to set-up a new fedex.com user ID and password and select your preferred billing method.

Office supplies

Receive Principal contracted pricing with office supply store STAPLES. Orders are delivered within 24 hours with the exception of back orders. There is no shipping and handling charge except for furniture or other large items.

As a Privileged Partner, you have access to a Verizon Wireless discount on eligible plans and accessories, plus great savings on phones.

  • Start by visiting this site and entering your business email address. You’ll get an email from do_not_reply@widepoint.com with instructions for the next steps.
  • The email you’ll receive includes a registration link that’s unique to you. It can only be used once, and it expires after 24 hours. Click on the link.
  • The next step depends on if you’re an existing or new Verizon Wireless customer:
    • Already with Verizon – click “Register or validate now” to register your account for a new discount or renew your existing discount.
    • New to Verizon – click “Shop now” to shop for new service, devices, and accessories. Once activated, your discount will be automatically added to qualifying plans and features.

Apple
